The Classical Revival style hospital was constructed in 1907 and the similarly designed nurses’ residence in 1913 by the Sisters of St Joseph of Carondelet. St Michael’s was a teaching hospital on this site until moving to new facilities in 1951. Situated on the banks of the Red River, the front of the buildings can be approached via the Greenway trail.
